Stylish young man on campus. 'Plus Fours' were knickers introduced to America by Edward Prince of Wales (later Edward VIII of the United Kingdom) during a diplomatic trip in 1924. They are cut four inches longer than ordinary knickers so that they blouse more fully. Popular in the 1920s and 1930s, they are having a modest revival in golf today.
